Danny DeVito came clean about saving Michael Douglas from a snakebite, ‘I really made that story’

Members Nathan for you We know how far a celebrity will go in securing a great talk show story, and now we know that the comedian may not have been alone in misrepresenting the truth for a late night audience. In 2018, actor Danny DeVito previously told a story about how he rescued fellow movie star Michael Douglas from a snake bite. talking on the talk (Erosion People), DeVito claimed that he and Douglas were in Mexico and that ant Man The star caught a snake and was eventually bitten by it. After that, DeVito said he absorbed the poison from Douglas’ wounds, and saved him. Funny thing though, DeVito has now revealed that this wasn’t true at all.

Lucy’s follow-up was, “Is it true that you once saved his life?” With DeVito’s answer back in “Yes”. As it sometimes happens in these videos, the polygraph operator confirmed that DeVito was lying. The Academy Award nominee laughed and then admitted, yes, the story wasn’t true.

“I really made up this story,” DeVito howled. “Okay, so I was lying. Oh yeah, I said that on the talk shows. But you know, there’s an old joke I probably can’t tell here because that’s like, the guy is bitten somewhere else by a boa. And he’s with his friend, and he says, ‘You have to Suck the poison.” And the guy says, “No way, baby. You are a dead man. I don’t suck poison out of that.” In response to the joke, Lucy DeVito added, “I’ve never heard that before.” Watch the moment below at the 4:50 mark.

DeVito recently made headlines for another funny quote in an interview, revealing yesterday that he hopes to appear in a remake of Disney’s Hercules, adding, “If they don’t put me in it, they won’t have hair in their ass.”
